Get Your Skydiving License
After your solo skydive, your next goal should be to earn your skydiving license.
What's a skydiving license?
It's your "Pass Go" card. Your skydiving license is your credential to jump at virtually any drop zone in the world.
USPA has been issuing skydiving licenses for over 50 years that are recognized all over the world. It starts with your USPA A license, which you can earn after only 25 jumps and completion of a proficiency card signed by your instructor. Your A license says you are a safe, competent skydiver. It allows you to rent gear and jump at most drop zone locations. It is also the first stepping stone to more advanced skydiving licenses.
From your A license, you go on to earn your B license (with completion of 50 jumps), your C license (with completion of 200 jumps), and your D license (with completion of 500 jumps). Successive licenses allow you additional jump privileges like making water jumps and night jumps, earning coach and instructor ratings and participating in exhibition jumps into events.
